The conference brings together individuals from the Triple Helix (Enterprise – University- Government) to share and discuss findings related to electrochemical science and technology through various formats, including oral and poster sessions, short courses, workshops, networking areas, and exhibitions. Many of the topics under consideration may be of interest to corrosionists. However, it is important to note that the symposium on corrosion science and technology will address themes such as general issues, cutting-edge analytical techniques in corrosion research, anticorrosion protective coatings, corrosion in sustainable energy systems, and the corrosion of emerging materials.

The event will enhance the knowledge of the discipline through the participation of students and professionals who present their scientific contributions in various formats, including keynote addresses, plenary conferences, oral and/or poster presentations, and pre-conference courses. The Congress themes encompass eight divisions that integrate all its research contributions, covering both traditional areas of electrochemistry and those deemed novel and contemporary, arising from the scientific and technological advancements achieved by electrochemistry in recent years, or as a result of its interaction with other disciplines. Proposals related to novel and contemporary aspects of electrochemistry, stemming from global issues, will be accepted on themes such as electrochemical engineering and technological applications, materials electrochemistry, and corrosion and surface treatment.

It is an internationally recognized conference that gathers thousands of experts worldwide to share and discuss results and issues related to electrochemistry, including corrosion and related fields. Interaction formats include oral presentations, panel discussions, poster sessions, short courses, professional development workshops, technical presentations, business development sessions, and networking spaces.
