This course is the first step toward Certified Coatings Inspector status and teaches advanced documentation and the execution of destructive and non-destructive inspections of liquid and non-liquid coatings on any substrate. Aimed at basic coatings inspectors seeking certification, it combines lectures, group work, labs, and case studies to build skills in advanced corrosion theory, CP, environmental control, surface preparation, specialized application methods, inspection instruments, concrete and non-liquid coatings, failure modes, maintenance, and health and safety.
