Corrosion Events in Mexico

The event aims to promote global technical exchange and disseminate new knowledge, technological developments, and corrosion and asset integrity management innovations. These areas are linked to significant topics such as predictive maintenance, environmental footprint reduction, and current energy and infrastructure market demands. It offers opportunities for interaction among international players in the Triple Helix of universities, businesses, and the state and for the integration of students and young professionals with renowned experts and mentors in the sector.

The event will enhance the knowledge of the discipline through the participation of students and professionals who present their scientific contributions in various formats, including keynote addresses, plenary conferences, oral and/or poster presentations, and pre-conference courses. The Congress themes encompass eight divisions that integrate all its research contributions, covering both traditional areas of electrochemistry and those deemed novel and contemporary, arising from the scientific and technological advancements achieved by electrochemistry in recent years, or as a result of its interaction with other disciplines. Proposals related to novel and contemporary aspects of electrochemistry, stemming from global issues, will be accepted on themes such as electrochemical engineering and technological applications, materials electrochemistry, and corrosion and surface treatment.

Promotes knowledge sharing and technological transfer for safer, more efficient hydrocarbon operations. Covers corrosion prevention, repair, rehabilitation, and integrity management to extend asset life.

Examines how electrochemistry—including corrosion phenomena—advances resource recovery, energy transformation and environmental sustainability.

This event aims to cultivate the Corrosionists of the future by connecting students with industry, strengthening professional training, and inviting companies to support or sponsor this initiative.

The AMPP CP1 course introduces the fundamentals of corrosion and cathodic protection, combining theory with hands-on lab training to perform and interpret basic CP field tests. It targets field personnel and technicians who supervise CP systems or collect CP data, and covers practical topics such as electrical fundamentals, field measurements, CP components, surveys, documentation, and safety requirements.

This event offers professional development sessions for women in the industrial finishing sector, from the production floor to executive leadership. Participants will learn effective strategies, improve performance, explore industry trends, and gain practical insights to support career growth and success.
