Corrosion Events in Italy

The course develops expertise in insulation design, installation, inspection, and corrosion under insulation prevention, as well as in standards, materials, and safety. Combining theory and practice, it prepares participants for the FROSIO insulation inspector certificate, awarded based on experience.

The course develops advanced competencies in corrosion analysis, technical regulations, and galvanic anode design for buried and immersed metallic structures. Building on Level 2 skills, it prepares professionals to assume full responsibility for the design and management of cathodic protection systems.

This course fosters in-depth analysis and discussion of buried infrastructure protection and durability through cathodic protection, promoting knowledge sharing, practical experience, and essential technical expertise.

This advanced course equips professionals with comprehensive expertise in corrosion theory, impressed current system design, installation, commissioning, and performance evaluation. It also introduces cathodic protection applications in marine, concrete, and internal surface environments, preparing candidates for specialist-level certification.

SICT 2027 is held jointly with PlasmaTech 2027 and Tribology 2027.
