Corrosion Events in Argentina

This event, titled "Conventional and Unconventional Challenges," aims to connect users, suppliers, and developers within the oil and gas industry to exchange technical and economic knowledge regarding corrosion-related issues. It will promote discussions on technologies, lessons learned, and academic contributions. The agenda encompasses corrosion treatment across various industry processes, including completion and drilling, production, processing plants, and fluid transportation.

Designed for O&G professionals. Covers extraction processes, asset management, process safety, material fundamentals, damage mechanisms, and corrosion/integrity management for wells, facilities, and pipelines. Includes NDT techniques, monitoring and mitigation methods, and industry ethics.

This meeting offers an opportunity to update knowledge, exchange experience, and address current energy-industry challenges. Its technical program covers steel pipeline coatings for Vaca Muerta, H2S material selection, cathodic protection design, and AMPP training and certification pathways.

Integrity of oil and gas facilities across treatment, transportation, refining, and distribution. Topics: risk management, rehabilitation, inspection technologies, design/materials, integrity management, and emerging challenges.

This certification provides intermediate-level expertise in corrosion theory, cathodic protection systems, and advanced monitoring techniques for asset protection. It is intended for technical professionals responsible for testing, troubleshooting, and managing the field performance of cathodic protection.

This meeting takes an integrated approach to integrity—from the well to surface facilities, equipment, and pipelines. It will address casing deformation, annular management, frac hits, corrosion, sand production, risk-based inspection, materials, monitoring, and prevention, linking real operational challenges to field experience, technical knowledge, and practical solutions.

This extended course covers the full spectrum of Oil & Gas asset integrity: from hydrocarbon extraction fundamentals and materials science to corrosion mechanisms (electrochemical and MIC), damage and failure analysis, risk-based inspection (RBI), NDT techniques, cathodic protection, well integrity (WIMS), and plant integrity management. Grounded in API, ASME, ISO, and Norwegian Petroleum Industry (Norsok) standards, it builds practical, standards-based competence across 14 modules for O&G professionals.
