Meeting Events

In alignment with International Corrosion Awareness Day, a meeting will be held to discuss the role of corrosion and material protection in sustainable industrial development. The event fosters collaboration among academia, industry, and government, following the Triple Helix model, to explore innovative solutions for corrosion management and sustainability. The program highlights include a panel on the current national situation regarding corrosion and material protection, a second panel on the future of corrosion and sustainability, and a final closing debate.

One-day forum on corrosion monitoring, advanced coatings, inspection technologies and sustainable materials, aimed at reducing maintenance costs and unplanned shutdowns while extending asset life.

Since 2011 this one-day ISE-sponsored event lets MSc and PhD students from Croatia and neighbouring countries present work in electrochemistry, materials science and energy storage, fostering networking in a supportive setting.

This is a “Young Research Days' event designed to provide a platform for doctoral students, their supervisors, and experienced researchers to engage in discussions about the durability of materials in harsh environments. This event showcases the contributions of doctoral students by providing them with the opportunity to present their research related to the meeting's theme through oral presentations or posters.
