CP3 - Cathodic Protection Technologist

CP3 - Cathodic Protection Technologist took place Jul 5–8, 2026 in Salmiya, Kuwait. It was a Course event for corrosion and materials science professionals in the Asia region. The certification validates advanced theoretical and practical competence in cathodic protection, with a strong emphasis on data interpretation, troubleshooting, and basic system design for both galvanic and impressed-current installations. Aimed at experienced CP professionals with solid engineering and scientific backgrounds, it develops skills in polarization theory, identifying measurement errors, determining current distribution, performing advanced CP testing and interference investigations, and designing and installing simplified CP systems, including appropriate calculations and corrective actions.
