AMPP Marine Coating Technology (MCT)

AMPP Marine Coating Technology (MCT) took place Sep 13–16, 2026 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It was a Course event for corrosion and materials science professionals in the Asia region. The course covers fundamentals of ship coatings: common ship types, corrosion forms by area, suitable marine coating/lining systems, the shipbuilding process, and surface preparation, application, and inspection techniques, including IMO PSPC requirements for ballast, cargo, and void tanks. Aimed at inspectors, engineers, QA managers, contractors, applicators, and maintenance staff, it trains participants to describe protective coating types and uses, address safety issues, use marine coating inspection instruments, and recognize key IMO resolutions related to coatings.
